Graduation, Cropping, Blog Hopping!
Time does indeed fly! I graduate this Saturday with my Master's Degree in Educational Administration! It has been a grueling 18 months, but the work is done and I am walking the hallowed aisle on Saturday! WooHoo!
I have been to many crops this summer and hosted a few swaps on our Texas Scrappin' Chicks Group. I will post some pics soon.
Today, I am participating in a blog hop hosted by Scrappin-n-Chattin. They are featuring some awesome projects by some very talented scrappers and oh, the blog candy! So hop on over to Abby's blog and play along!

New Direction for this blog
I started this blog 2 years ago as an assignment for 23 Things, a study in web 2.0. Now, instead of creating a new different blog for my craft, I decided to "remake" this blog. I am looking forward to changing the background and posting the products of my crafting. Mainly scrapbooking and cardmaking along with some altered items. So welcome to my new blog!

First Day Jitters--Calmed!
It was for all intents and purposes a fairly quiet first day! The kids were behaved and everything went smoothly. I heard some of our little guys in the hallways crying. It always takes a few weeks for our 4-year-olds to settle in.
I had four classes in the library and we read a story, reviewed the rules and got seating settled.
I am tired, but quite pleased with the first day!

Well, They Applauded!
We had problems getting the LCD projector, document camera, and laptop all communicating together, but my trusty tech partner worked on it and I went on with the faculty presentation. I was able to affirm their efforts, get a few laughs, and answer their questions. I even got rather enthusiastic applause! My partner followed up getting them excited about blogs and wikis! We are on our way! On to another district-wide in service at the GRB tomorrow! We have to board a bus at the school before sunup! (well not quite before sunup!)

Getting started at school
It is the start of a new school year and a new school for me! Tomorrow, I will present to the faculty for the first time. I am a little nervous, but am up for it. I am excited about sharing all the Web 2.0 tools I have used this summer and want my teachers to be excited about them too! Wish me luck!
